Bernardo Mancha is a Superintendent at LXMI Capital, overseeing on-site construction execution, subcontractor coordination, and quality control across the firm’s renovation and repositioning programs.
Bernardo brings more than 35 years of construction and development experience, including nearly two decades with the San Antonio Housing Authority and its successor, Opportunity Home San Antonio, where he rose from Construction Inspector to Project Manager II, Development Services Manager, and ultimately Senior Asset Manager. In those roles he managed new construction and rehabilitation projects citywide, coordinated affordable housing development with HUD, TDHCA, and the City of San Antonio from inception through stabilization, and administered change orders, pay estimates, and construction draws. Most recently, he project-managed disaster reconstruction projects across San Antonio and Austin for Twin Bud Reconstruction. Earlier in his career, he spent over 15 years in heavy civil construction inspection and resident engineering on highway, transit, and water infrastructure projects for agencies including the Illinois and Texas Departments of Transportation.
Bernardo holds a BS in Construction Technology from Purdue University.
